Curriculum Maintenance Manager – General Studies and Further Education, Victoria University

Nadia Casarotto is one the Curriculum Maintenance Managers for General Studies and Further Education based at Victoria University. Part of her role includes the monitoring and maintenance of Victorian crown copyright accredited curriculum in the Foundation skills area such as the Certificates in General Education for Adults(CGEA) and the EAL Framework. She works with teacher networks and facilitates professional development for teachers of the CGEA on behalf of the ACFE Board. Margaret Corrigan is CEO of Carringbush Adult Education. She has worked in various education sectors for many years, in the Asia-Pacific, as well as Australia. In her 2017 Fellowship with the International Specialised Skills Institute, Margaret investigated best practice models of professional development for teachers of adult EAL. She is passionate about improving outcomes for people who may have barriers to their learning.
